    Framed Name for Baby Shower

    Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

    Hey Letter Your Legacy Shoppers-

I hope you all had a great Memorial Day Weekend.  I didn’t think to write about this before Memorial Day, but I think it would be a great idea to buy a framed name for a military man or woman who you know to show them your appreciation for their service to our country.  Just a thought!  The framed name might be really appreciated by them.

Another gift idea I wanted to throw out there- baby showers!! Framed names are such a sweet gift for a baby shower. The reason this is on my mind is because I just had my first baby on May 20th!  I was out for maternity leave the last week and a half, but as I sit here with my baby girl napping beside me, I just can’t help but think what a great idea framed names are for a nursery.  Our nursery is designed with black furniture, so if I was designing a framed name for my daughter’s room, I would go with a black frame and either a black matte or white matte.  We also have white frames if your nursery is decorated with white furniture.  If you have espresso colored furniture, I would suggest either the Premium Tuscan frame or a sepia canvas board from Letter Keepsakes.

We just ordered some black and white newborn photos that we got taken of our daughter when she was 9 days old and black and white letter photography would go great in a collection of these photos.  Just because it’s a nursery doesn’t always mean the colors have to be pink or blue!  A black or white frame will blend in with any color scheme.  Also- bringing a framed name to a baby shower is a great idea because you don’t even have to know the colors of the nursery.

Letter Photo Art for a Unique Wedding Gift

    Monday, February 22nd, 2010

    Hey Everyone-

Well it is now almost March, and I’m sure that many of you have plenty of spring weddings coming up in April and May.  Letter photo art from Letter Your Legacy makes an awesome and unique wedding gift to bring to the next wedding you attend.

There are plenty of great reasons to give letter photo art as a wedding gift!  First- it is custom and personalized.  Brides and grooms are always excited about starting a family together with a shared last name, and what better way to celebrate that with them than by giving them a framed name? Second- framed letter photo art from Letter Your Legacy looks great in any home!  Just go with a standard black frame and black or white matte if you aren’t sure of their color scheme.  Most household decor items could very easily clash with what they already have and never make it out of the closet. Letter photo art will be a cherished gift for years to come.

I love giving letter photo art as a gift because it is so fun and easy just to hop online and have fun desiging a framed name in the comfort of my own home or office.  On the other hand- I don’t really enjoy driving to Bed Bath and Beyond and printing off a 20 page registry and searching the aisle’s to try and find the item they registered for. (Which someone else probably already bought for them and forgot to take it off the registry).

Letter photo art is sure to be a well received gift at the next wedding or shower you attend.  We get repeat customers all the time at Letter Your Legacy because they have letter photo art as their “go-to wedding gift”.  Make your shopping easy, affordable and fun at Letter Your Legacy!

    Letter Your Legacy Website Changes

    Monday, October 26th, 2009

    Hey Letter Your Legacy Shoppers,

I just wanted to give you all a little heads up about a recent change on our website.  If you frequent our website to check out our unique black and white letter photos, you may have noticed the links at the bottom of the site taking you to other products like canvas boards, premium frames, sports frames ect.  We have recently taken those links OFF of the website.  Those links were there to take the shopper to our other website, Letter Keepsakes, for those other products.  However, we feel that might have been confusing for some first time shoppers looking for black and white letter photos to frame their name.  So, my point to all of this- if you are wanting to design a canvas or premium frame with our black and white letter photos, you will want to go to www.letterkeepsakes.com.

Not sure what I’m talking about? Here is an  image to help explain…

    Canvas Board

    Canvas Board

This is an example of a canvas board that spells “Smith”.  As you can see, the black and white letter photos aren’t framed. but they are printed and streched on canvas.  These are an awesome choice for the person who likes a different look to the traditional frame.  The black and white letter photos are also larger on these- they are 6×6 instead of 3 1/2x 3 1/2.  So if you are wanting bigger black and white letter photos, go with a canvas board from www.letterkeepsakes.com.

On Letter Keepsakes, you can also change our black and white letter photos into sepia photos.  This looks great if you already have some sepia photos in your home.  This can be done for the canvas boards and the framed names.

I hope you all enjoy shopping at our two different websites!  We have such a variety of frames, sizes, and black and white letter photos that you are sure to find exactly what you are looking for.

    Framed Name Gift Ideas Continued

    Thursday, October 8th, 2009

    Hi Bloggers,

I hope you all have thought of some upcoming events that you might need to bring a gift to.  I’m sure a framed name would be the perfect choice!  Here are some more ideas to get you thinking about who else you can buy a framed name for.  At Letter Your Legacy, we make purchasing a gift easy, fun, affordable, and fast.  No more waiting in lines or having to waste an entire afternoon driving to and from different stores.

    Idea #1:

Framed names are an ideal gift to bring to a housewarming party.  When people move into a new house, they want to make it a home right?  What better way to make a family feel at home in their new residence than with a framed name to put on the wall.  Another bonus- if someone moved away from where you are, you can easily get their frame shipped to their new address instead of to you.  Sending them a framed name let’s them know that you miss them and that you wish them well in their new home.

    Idea #2:

How about giving a framed name as an anniversary gift? Maybe you’ve got a parent or grandparent with a milestone anniversary coming up.  Framed names are a great way to celebrate many years together as a couple.  Their name is something very special that they share together, so why not choose from our letter art to create a special wall hanging for them?  Besides, parents and grandparents are always hard to buy for anyway! Framed names are a thoughtful, creative present that won’t go out of style or end up in the garage sale.  Maybe you are the one with an anniversary coming up.  Show your wife or husband that they are special to you and how you love sharing a family name with them by ordering them a framed name.

New Letter Art Coming November 2009

    Monday, September 28th, 2009

    Hey Everybody,

I hope you all had a great weekend! I just wanted to fill you all in on what’s going down here at Letter Your Legacy.  People often ask for new letter art, and we have delivered! This summer, in June, our family went on an awesome trip to Israel. This was such a great experience and the country was so gorgeous and had so much history and character that we decided to take and entire collection of letter art here.  We ended up with multiple letters for the entire alphabet.

A country full of so many ancient ruins gave us an opportunity to take letter art pictures like we never had before.  This trip was such a blast and we ended up with an entire group of about 25 looking for letter art all over Israel!

Well, I couldn’t tell you all about the new letter art and not give you a sneak peek, right? Here are just a few of the awesome letter photos we were able to capture in Israel.

    Letter Art "E"

    Letter Art "E"

This example of letter art is a lower case “E”.  This is just a strand of rope draped into the shape of an “E”.  A simple letter photo, but I feel like it will be one of our more popular letters because it is creative and abstract, but at the same time it is very clearly an “E”.

    Letter Art "T"

    Letter Art "T"

This letter art image was taken to be a lower case “T”.  Stacy took this shot on our super cool boat that we rode across the Sea of Galilee.  It was such a beautiful day and a smooth ride.  This was absolutely one of my favorite days in Israel.

Want to know more about the Israel trip and more letter art coming November 2009? You’ll have to check out our website! Use this link to find out more about the Israel collection: New Israel Letter Art
