Hey Blog fans,
Well I stepped outside yesterday and practically cried at the cold chill biting and my face and hands! I am NOT a winter fan and I am counting down the days until spring. I’m sure tons of you are getting snow where you are…central Oklahoma is still just wet and icy…no snow fall yet.
Anyway….even though I hate cold weather, I must admit that we have gotten some GORGEOUS letter photos because of it. Did you know that the first piece of name art created by Adam and Stacy actually used primarily letters taken from Breckenridge, Colorado during a ski trip?
Here are some examples to show you what I’m talking about!
This one was taken in Breckenridge and it’s an icicle turned sideways to create a letter photo of an E. I have this one in my name art design at home! I love the character and facets of this letter photo. It’s so unique and creative, but super easy to read in any name art design.
Here is one of my favorite G letter photos. This is one I almost always recommend to people when I’m helping them design name art with a G in it. I love this letter photo because of the untouched snow. Snow fall always looks so pretty when it’s undisturbed. Thank goodness they got to take a picture of this bench before someone sat on it and messed it all up!!
Here is a B taken out of the Letter Keepsakes collection. This letter photo is obviously just written in the snow, but it still provides a cool effect. We have this same design in the snow in other letters on Letter Keepsakes, in addition to the B. People are often very fond of them for their name art. They are often confused with sand letter photos, but they are definitely snow. Be careful if trying to design one with all snow letters, you might accidentally choose a sand one and it will look off balance!
Don’t forget you can still get your name art in plenty of time for Christmas!
