Letter art photos are a great addition to any home.  With so many different framing options available on our two websites, it’s easy to match our letter art photos with your home decor.

 This example of letter art photos is from Letter Your Legacy.  It’s a standard black frame with a red matte.  The total cost for this would be $89.99.  The dimensions for it are 8 1/2″ by 30″.  For larger framed names, please visit Letter Keepsakes (the prices are a little more though).  Obviously, this particular design wouldn’t go with just anyone’s home because of the red matte.  Luckily, you can match your letter art photos with a neutral matte in either tan, black or white in addition to the red. 

 This example of framed letter art photos comes from our Letter Keepsakes website. This is an example of a premium framed name featuring an Etched Bronze frame and a black matte.  These letter art photos could have also been printed in sepia.  The approximate sizing for this frame would be 12 1/2″ x 22 1/2″.  The cost for a premium framed name (in any amount of letters) is $124.99.

I want to show you all a few pictures of letters that maybe I haven’t written about on the blog before…I will let you know what I like about it and where it was taken.

I love this picture of the letter “G”.  This letter comes from our Letter Your Legacy collection.  This picture of a letter is actually taken from the end of a white wooden bench.  I like this one especially because the letter is white and the black background provides a nice contrast.  Most of the time the pictures of letters that are made of wood are darker.  I love the look of the worn wood and paint.  It gives it an antique look.  I also enjoy the fact that this picture of the letter “G” isn’t actually a “G”, but the unique eye of our photographer made it a “G”!

 So it seems like park benches are an ideal place to find pictures of letters! Here is another picture of a letter taken from the side of a bench.  This one is a “J”, in case you couldn’t tell!  What I really like about this one is that you have a great, original picture of a letter, but you also get an interesting background in the picture as well.  If you aren’t figuring it out, we are looking at the bench as if it were on it’s side. The wrought iron side of the bench forms the picture of the letter “J”.

I hope you all are havinga  great week.  I’ve returned work this week after a much needed vacation to Alaska!  It was an awesome trip..a little stressful on occasion with a 3 month old, but so many great memories.  My week off is why I didn’t write any blogs about letter photo keepsakes from Letter Your Legacy and Letter Keepsakes last week.

Here are some designs that I created on Letter Keepsakes and Letter Your Legacy to show you some great examples of combinations with our great letter pictures and frames and mattes. 

Here’s a letter picture design from Letter Your Legacy that reads “Adamson” .  I chose to do this one in a black frame and a white matte because that is our most frequently ordered combination online.  Don’t forget that you can mix and match any of our frames and mattes to match your home!  I chose the letter pictures based on size and looking good together. This piece is a 7 letter standard frame, so it would cost $89.99 (shipping would be $15).

This letter picture design is another standard frame from Letter Your Legacy and costs $89.99.  This design is the brown antique frame with a black matte.  I chose this one because that’s my favorite combination.   I chose these letter pictures to alternate them between light and dark letters, which I think adds a cool contrast. 

This letter picture design is actually from Letter Keepsakes and is a Premium Etched Bronze frame with a black matte.  This piece (although hard to see by the picture) would be about 5 inches wider all the way around than a Letter Your Legacy standard frame.  So, this one would cost $124.99  because of the larger frame and matte.  I chose these letter pictures because they are all fairly light and none of them stand out too much from eachother.

Design Your Own Standard Frame

I hope your week’s are going well!  We’ve been shipping lots of Signature Boards lately on Letter Keepsakes (I assume because of wedding season), so I thought I would give you all a little more information on how to use letter pictures in Signature Boards!  Here’s a quick run down Signature Boards in case you haven’t read my blogs before!

Signature Boards are our largest letter art piece’s. They are great to bring to an important event or occasion in which you would have guests to sign a note or signature to remember their attendance or love for the guest of honor.  You still design your name or word in our letter pictures, but the difference is a much bigger matte and frame, as well as a space for a 5×7 photo of the couple or person of honor.  Our letter pictures look fantastic in a framed name or a Signature Board!

Signature Board’s are the perfect piece to bring to weddings, a rehearsal dinner, a bridal shower, a baby shower, an anniversary party, an “over the hill” birthday, or even a graduation party!  I’m sure you can think of even more reasons to bring a Signature Board to your next party!  Signature Board’s are obviously more expensive than our regular frames, so I totally understand if it’s not in the budget to bring to your party.  Why not share the cost of a Signature Board with other people if you are getting it for someone?  For example, I spoke with a girl this last weekend who is a bridesmaid in a wedding with 6 other girls.  She wants to buy one for the bride and design it with our letter pictures.  7 bridesmaids means each one only has to chip in about $35!  That’s not bad at all   You will love choosing the letter pictures to go with one of our Premium Frames!

Design a Signature Board on Letter Keepsakes

I hope you enjoyed your weekend!  We had a great time at the An Affair of the Heart show in Tulsa, Oklahoma this last weekend.

Anyway, I realized that I haven’t blogged about our Signature Boards (featured on Letter Keepsakes) for a while, and if you are just visiting my blogs for the first time, you might not know what I’m talking about!  First of all, we sell our Signature Boards on Letter Keepsakes and they are available in any of our Premium Frames (Premium Barnwood, Premium Tuscan, Premium Etched Bronze and Premium Black). All of our Premium Frames are roughly 4″ wide.  Here’s an example of a Signature Board if you don’t know what I’m talking about:

This is an example of one that could be set up at  a wedding or an anniversary party.  On the Signature Boards you get to pick out the letter art from our website and then we ship it to you and you put in your own 5×7 vertical photo.  Our Signature Boards are easy to open and close back up.  In fact, use plexiglass instead of breakable glass so that we don’t risk the glass breaking when it’s shipped or when you open it.

So how much room is there on our Signature Board for your event guests to sign?  The matte itself is 19 1/2″ x 32″, so that leaves plenty of room for lots of guests! If you have an event with hundreds of guests, just names are the way to go.  However, if your event is more like a small party with 30 guests or so, have everyone write a note! WE send a sharpie with your order, but I recommend getting a fine point sharpie for more than 300 guests.

The letter art photos from Letter Keepsakes are available in sepia or black and white.  Think about what picture you want to put in the opening before you decide on the letter art color!

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend!  I’m sure a lot of you got rained out on the 4th…bummer!  We managed to get one good day of sun in Tulsa, so we were able to watch fireworks that night. 

Did anyone end up ordering alphabet photo’s from Letter Your Legacy before your 4th of July day party?  If you ended up stuck inside on the 4th, hopefully that just means you got to show off your alphabet photo design even more!

Here’s a little bit of information surrounding our alphabet photos that I commonly get asked questions about- they are 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, which is why we don’t sell them individually without the frames.  We make sure we don’t have any customer being disappointed because their photos don’t fit in a traditional 4 x 6 frame.  Our custom frames are specially designed to go with our alphabet photos.  We offer much better pricing on our custom frames than you would be able to get at a framing store anyway!  On Letter Your Legacy we sell black and white alphabet photos and on Letter Keepsakes we offer black and white and sepia alphabet photos.  We attach our photos by hand, one at a time behind our beveled mattes to ensure a professional and expensive look!

Well the end of June is amost here! I can’t believe that July is fast approaching! I had a baby on May 20th this year and so that made this summer really different than summers past. Not as much shopping and swimming as usual…Thank goodness for online shopping!  I’m not interested in taking  my 6 week old out in the 100 degree heat, so I did most of my Father’s Day and birthday shopping online recently.  You obviously know my opinion on the best online shopping site out there!  Letter Your Legacy’s alphabet art is just about the most fun I think you can have shopping online!
